Hajj 2023: NAHCON assures pilgrims of value for money

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), has reiterated its resolve to give Nigerian pilgrims value for their money, all through the duration of this year’s Hajj exercise.

The deputy Coordinator of the Commission in Makkah, Alhaji Alidu  Shutti made the vow while receiving the first batch of Nasarawa State pilgrims, who moved to Makkah, this Friday, after spending eight days in Madinah.

He said NAHCON is committed to making this year’s Hajj pleasantly memorable to pilgrims, hence the assemblage of committed and dedicated officials and competent Hajj managers to ensure smooth, comfort and ease to the pilgrims as they perform the rites of the fifth pillar of Islam.

Alhaji Shutti commended Nasarawa State pilgrims officials for their high level of understanding and cooperation, hoping they maintained the disposition throughout the exercise,calling on other state officials to them.

Meanwhile, the Company of Mutawwif for African Non Arab Pilgrims has promised to diligently serve Nigerian pilgrims during the entire duration of this year’s Hajj exercise.

Officials from the Company, Umar Mandura, Khalid and Adnan Mukhtar made the pledge during a meeting with NAHCON’s deputy coordinator in Makkah, Alhaji Alidu Shutti, saying they have made adequate arrangements to take care of Nigerian pilgrims, twenty-four hours a day for the period of their stay in the holy land.

The Company officials also assured NAHCON that they would cooperate and work with all relevant agencies and bodies in the Kingdom to make Nigerian pilgrims feel comfortable during the Hajj rites.

In response, the Makkah deputy coordinator expressed NAHCON’s appreciation over efforts by the Company of Mutawwif to ensure commendable service delivery to Nigerian pilgrims over the years.

He gave the company words of NAHCON chairman, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, that the Commission was ready to key into innovations that would make this year’s Hajj a resounding success and a memorable one to pilgrims in particular and all others in general.
