Bauchi State has embarked on state-wide sensitization tour of the 20 Local Government Councils of the State.
The Special adviser on pilgrims affairs Alh. Shehu Wadaji led the team that will cover Giade, Shira, Jamaare and Itas Gadau Local Government Councils.
So far the team has visited Giade and Shira Local Government Councils.
Five advocacy groups led by the Chairman of the Board, Executive Secretary, deputy Chairman of the Board are involved in the tour.
The exercise is targeted at traditional religious leaders, civil society organisations and the team will also visit local media organisation to create awareness on new 2024 hajj policies introduced by Saudi Arabia and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
