Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of five new members to the Ondo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of a broader set of appointments and changes approved by the governor for various state institutions and agencies.
The newly appointed members of the Ondo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board are Alhaji Adam Chandy, Chairman; Alhaji Muhammad Kamaldeen Akinyemi, Member; Alhaji Akorede Nuren Olatunde, Member; Alhaja Fausat Olorunyomi, Member; and Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olawoye, Member.
The appointments , and the others, were announced by the state government as part of efforts to strengthen the administration and operations of relevant institutions.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the appointments were approved by Governor Aiyedatiwa and would take immediate effect.
