Hajj 2023: Kaduna secures standard accommodation for pilgrims in Makkah

In the bid to achieve a successful 2023 Hajj, a delegation of Kaduna Pilgrims Welfare Agency led by the Executive Secretary Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu has secured standard  accommodation for the state pilgrims in Makkah.

The accommodation secured by the agency are within the defined parameters of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj in terms of distance, quality and other standards.

The agency is also working with on getting a decent catering service for its pilgrims as it has gone far in discussions with top catering services providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the same vain, the executive secretary of the Agency Dr Arrigasiyyu has been saddled with the responsibility of leading a commity to review the operation and possessions of official vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Some state’s owned vehicles are outdated , some in bad shape and others requiring maintainance.

The committee has swang into action by inspecting the vehicles, meeting with custodians and is setting out modalities for operation and management of the vehicles.

In another development, the Agency has received the allocation of 5,982 hajj slots for the year from the National Hajj Commission.

Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu has advised registered intending pilgrims in the state to update their payments to meet-up with N2.5 million before 20th February, 2023. This will help guarantee the slot offered to the pilgrims.
