The need by State Hajj Agencies to strongly join hands with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON towards achieving a flawless Hajj exercise for the country becomes absolutely necessary.
It is absolutely clear that the success of Hajj operations partly lay in the level at which plans and actions are harmonized between State Agencies and the National Hajj Commission. If this is seriously considered by State Pilgrims Welfare Boards, the Herculean task of NAHCON will be made easier.
The recent call by the Commission on State Agencies to restrict the Official Seat Fare of three million Naira inclusive of Local charges should be strictly adhered to, to avoid jeorpardising the mission of their intending Pilgrims.
Currently, our optimism is higher going by the level of preparation attained by the Commission. Preparations in terms of securing competent Carrier Airlines, and composing competent teams of ad-hoc staff to stand by Pilgrims throughout the exercise.
Hajj Exercise is actually having to do with a very large number of Pilgrims most of whom are First timers . The Commission’s focus remain dynamic towards getting the right things in the right place to achieve a right Hajj exercise.
Thanks to the resilience and able leadership of the Chairman, Chief Executive, Zikirullah Kunle Hassan for examplary leadership which makes the Commission one of the best organizations. The unity and cooperation amongst the staff towards achieving a common goal is pointing to competent leadership.
It is also our prayers that with the efforts being put in place by the Chairman Screening Committee Alhaji Abdullahi Hardawa the airlift of Pilgrims will be a success God willing.
