In a bid to strengthen security measures and ensure Nigerian pilgrims’ safety, the Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan on Thursday inaugurated the Central Security Committee (CSC).

The committee, which is made up of representatives from various security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Department of State Services and the Nigerian Immigration Service, among others, was tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the safety and security of Nigerian pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj exercise.

During the inauguration ceremony, the NAHCON chairman stressed the importance of security in the Hajj exercise. He also stressed the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure pilgrim safety.
