Adilla to train NAHCON officials on “E-system” passport policy

Chief Executive Officer  of  Daleel Alzowar, one of the two companies under the umbrella of Adilla, Mr Muhammad Arabi has said the group is set to train members of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Passport Management and Control Committee.

He made the disclosure  at a meeting held between his company and NAHCON Madina coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Mahmood
and his team.

The two parties discussed on the new system of handling pilgrims passports throughout their stay in Madina, according to a statement on Thursday night by Suwaiba Ahmed, an official of the Information & Publications Division of
NAHCON.

The system now involves  Hajj officials of the respective countries to have custody of passports of their pilgrims while in Saudi Arabia.

  Mohammed Arabi says his company was ready to train members of NAHCON Passport Management and Control Committee on the new “E-system” of passport management, saying the new system will help ease the way pilgrims’ passports are handled from their arrival in Madina to the time they leave the city.

He said countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and Turkey were already using the system.

Responding , the head of Passport Management and Control committee, Alhaji Tajuddeen Akande said they have put all machineries in place to ensure the safe keeping of pilgrims passports.
