Bauchi Pilgrims Board warns new Hajj Officers against misconduct

The newly appointed Local Government Hajj Affairs Officers in Bauchi have been advised to work in synergy with other Hajj stakeholders and to desist from abuse of mandate.

The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board,  Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris gave the warning  while closing a one- day induction training for new Hajj Affairs Officers  to ensure a hitch free hajj excercise.

He urged that ” You are Ambassadors of your Local Governments, you should not indulge in any wrongly act that will turnish it image”

He added that “Government sponsored you to ensure the wellbeing  of pilgrims throughout Hajj operation”.

Imam Abdurrahman urged them to reciprocate the gesture by justifying the confidence reposed in them.

Earlear, two papers were presented by the Director Operation, Alh Sabiu Barau Ningi and Director Education and Enlightenment, Alh Bala Ibrahim Sani.

In thier separate remarks, they said the induction training was aimed at exposing the new Hajj Affairs Officers to the tasks ahead.
