Executive Director Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki has reiterated the commitment of the board to ensuring hitch-free Hajj 2023 operation.
Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki was speaking while receiving the comptroller of Immigration service katsina state command in the board conference Hall.
The Executive Director who aknowledged the contribution of the State immigration service to the board,urged the controller and the passport officer in the State to look into the problems of some intending pilgrims who are yet to receive their E-passport, so as to enable the board facilitate their visas.
He expressed appreciation over the controller’s efforts in making his management and staff work tirelessly with the sole aim of making Hajj 2023 a success.
Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki also informed the controller that katsina state pilgrims welfare board received 4.923,000 total allocation of 2023 Hajj slots from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.
Earlier Speaking, the controller of Immigration Service Katsina State Command, Alhaji Muhammadu Adamu said the purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the board and continuity of the existing cordial relationship between the board and the Katsina State Immigration Service Command.
The comptroller further said that the command is able to secure enough passport booklets for Katsina State intending pilgrims who were not able to get their E-passports in time.
