Mutawwif : NAHCON expressess satisfaction with provisions made for Nigerian pilgrims

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria ( NAHCON), has expressed satisfaction with the level of preparation and provisions made by the Saudi Arabia service provider company, the Mutawwif, to adequately take care of the entire Nigerian pilgrims to this year’s Hajj.

Speaking with members of  NAHCON National Media Team in Makkah, the NAHCON Deputy Coordinator, Alhaji Alidu Shutti said all the eighteen field offices of the Company he visited with his entourage were fully activated to serve the ninety-five thousand Nigerian pilgrims that would be taking part in the annual religious rites.

He said that during the tour of the field offices, all critical issues concerning the comfort and ease of religious obligations
for the pilgrims were accessed, appraised and conclusions reached.

Alhaji Alidu said that barring unforeseen circumstances, pilgrims will certainly get value for their money.

He further stated that during the visitation to the field offices, issues relating to tent facilities, cooling systems, feeding, bedding, toiletries and sanitation among others, particularly at the Mashã’ir(religious) sites, were reviewed.

The Company of Mutawwif is saddled with the responsibilities of attending to pilgrims from non African Countries and Nigeria is among such countries.
