The Pilgrims Education and Orientation Division of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has participated in a comprehensive Hajj camp orientation exercise held at the FCT Camp in Basan Jiwa, organized by the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT-MPWB).

A statement from NAHCON said “The well-structured and informative program featured sessions conducted in both English and Hausa languages at separate venues. Representatives from the Immigration Service, NDLEA, Health Department, and Airport Authorities were present to offer valuable insights and guidance.”

The enlightenment program took place on Saturday and Sunday.

Muhammad Lawal Aliyu, Public Relations Officer of the FCT-MPWB had in a press statement on Friday announced the orientation program.

He quoted the Director of the Board, Mallam Kadiri Edah, as saying that activities had been outlined to actualise the success of the operation and ensure that intending pilgrims are well prepared for the spiritual journey to the holy land of Saudi Arabia.

“Mallam Edah explained that the Board would ensure that intending pilgrims get the rudiments of performing hajj in order to perform the religious obligations,” Aliyu said.

He added that the Director advised intending pilgrims who have made complete payment to utilize the opportunity to derive the benefit of performing the Hajj.
