The Taraba State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has fixed December 1st, 2025, as the deadline for the payment of the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Board has released the revised Hajj fare for the 2026 Hajj as released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), amounting to Seven Million, Six Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira, (N7,630,000.00k) only.

A statement from the Information Unit of the Board stated that intending pilgrims who have the intention of performing Hajj through the Board should complete payment before the deadline to book a seat for the religious journey.

The Spokesperson of the Board explained that all payments must be made via Centre Officers, as no complaints would be entertained.

He said all payments for the Hajj exercise are to be concluded before the deadline to enable the Board to compile the actual list of intending pilgrims for the exercise this year and to remit all funds to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on schedule.

He stated that the Board has initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for the provision of feeding and befitting accommodation in Makkah during the 2026 Hajj.

“The negotiation is in line with the desire of the Board to render the best services to the Taraba contingent, in accordance with the desire of the K-move Administration”, the statement added.
