Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman says the Commission has gone far in preparation for the 2025 Hajj.

Prof Saleh Usman disclosed this on Wednesday when he led the management of NAHCON on a visit to the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Kadiri Hamzat.

Speaking during the visit, the NAHCON Chairman said that screening of airlines had been completed and Hajj fare will soon be announced while a meeting has been held with state officials to fine tune other arrangements.

The NAHCON boss further stated that, plans have been perfected to secure tent A at Mina for any VIP or Government officials.

Responding, Dr Hamzat reiterated the Lagos State Government commitment to supportĀ  NAHCON to carry out its mandate successfully.

Dr. Hamzat however advised NAHCON to find ways to reduce the number of days Pilgrims spend in Saudi Arabia and address the issue of visa challenges as well as feeding arrangements.

The Deputy Governor then prayed for success in Hajj administration in the country.
