Chairman/CEO, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Binta Sambo Abdullahi, the wife of former NAHCON Chairman/CEO, Barr. Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad.
Hajiya Binta passed away yesterday 22nd July 2024 in her early 50s after a brief illness. She was survived by her aged parents, her husband, her son and siblings.
In a condolence statement, Chairman Arabi described the late Hajiya Binta as an exemplary woman who made significant contributions to the Ummah and will be remembered for her “philanthropic contributions to the welfare of underprivileged people in the society”.
While extending his condolences on behalf of himself, board members, management and staff of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Malam Arabi described the death as “a huge loss” not only to her husband and immediate family but to the entire country.
He prayed for the repose of her soul and for fortitude and comfort for her husband and family to bear the loss in this grieving moment.
The NAHCON Chairman the company of strong delegation from the presidency paid a condolence visit immediately he alighted from Saudi Arabia yesterday.
