The Nasarawa State Media Influencers have presented an Award of Excellence to Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura, Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board (NSMPWB), in recognition of his dedication and contributions to the board’s success.
Aliyu Ibrahim Orah, Chairman of the Media Influencers, led the delegation to present the award. He stated that the association closely monitored the board’s operations both in Nigeria and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which informed their decision to honor Almakura.
In his acceptance speech, Mallam Idris Almakura expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged to intensify efforts toward improving pilgrims’ welfare.
He dedicated the award to Governor Abdullahi Sule and the entire people of Nasarawa State, acknowledging that their unwavering support remains the key to the board’s operational success.
